MOSCOW, Mar 9 (PRIME) -- Russian president Vladimir Putin has signed into law a decree forbidding exports and imports of goods and raw materials listed by the government except exports and imports by citizens for personal use, according to a statement released on the portal of legal information on Tuesday.

"The application of special economic measures shall be ensured until December 31, 2022," the statement read.

The government will list the countries where exports of goods will be forbidden in two days.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order temporarily prohibiting exports of medical devices produced in the countries that imposed sanctions on Russia.
